I started Scrutiny Magazine in order to inspire readers into action through transformative writing. Through original content, our goal is to provide a space where readers can be challenged to grow.

This has been a running theme for me.

When I started my blog (chantalkami.wordpress.com) two years ago, I sought to give readers relatable content from writers whose experiences they could identify with. These real and raw stories resonated with so many people, giving them a lens through which to understand their own journeys. Through this blog, I learned the power of storytelling as a tool for connection.

This magazine is an extension of the blog, with an even wider reach.

My goal is for Scrutiny to become the hub for authentic storytelling, uplifting people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences.
