1. Hey, what’s your name?
Tracy Kakuru OTATIINA (Nkwanzee)
2. Why do you think Scrutiny felt strongly about you being a right fit for the brand?
I can’t speak for them, but I’d like to think that they asked me to be part of this because they saw something in me or my journey that would inspire and resonate with their audience.
3. What do you trust is your super power?
Lol I think mine is to remain calm and composed in very sticky situations…also I tend to have a number of things on my plate at the same time, so I’d like to think I manage that quite well.
4. Mention two things about yourself you’d like to improve?
I tend to self sabotage maybe in mild doses. I need to focus more on the goal and not obsess with the ‘how’ to achieve it.
5. Is being a mother something you had always wanted for yourself?
Most definitely.
6. Friend A loves children and is great with them, but is afraid of childbirth. What would you say to convince them it’s worth risking it all. Go!
I don’t think it’s possible to want children, eventually have them, in whichever circumstances and regret. It’s the greatest joy in this life and supersedes whatever hurdles faced along the way.
7. What funny stories do you have on Rose as a mother?
Lol she is such an amazing mother, every single detail doesn’t go unnoticed. She probably calls her nanny 4-5 times within an hour, it’s sweet and hilarious.
8.What are we naming our babygirl? 😉
Who says it’s a baby girl 😅
1. Hi, what’s your name?
Rose Ikiriza Kakuru Ngabo
2. How best would you describe your creative side?
Minimalistic, colourful and edgy.
3. Where do you find most of your inspiration?
My inspiration is found everywhere, different environments, moods, experiences in my personal life and the lives of people around me.
4. What is your love language?
Physical touch and quality time.
5. What do you value most about your husband?
His warm loving nature, his kind and genuine heart.
6. What about motherhood made you more comfortable with owning yourself?
Finding a different version of myself that I didn’t know was there and seeing myself unfold into this person I actually really like.
7. Mention two things about yourself you’d like to improve?
My toxic trait is, I hardly forgive people that do me dirty. I need to learn to forgive. Also procrastination, I tend to leave things till the last minute and yet it really stresses me out.
8. What qualities did your late mum instil in you and would love to see in your daughter?
The love for God and confidence in myself. She always used to say, “don’t let anyone convince you that you are beautiful, it should be something you always know.” I would love for my daughter to love and be confident in herself and have a strong personal relationship with Allah.
9. What funny stories do you have on Tracy as a mum?
Tracy as a mom is so calm and chilled always! She always has some fun ideas up her sleeve and the boys love it. I always tell her she could have 10 kids and still do it so effortlessly.
10. What are we naming our baby? 😉
Hmmm, top secret for now hehe.
